Travel Tips
Luggages :
Two things which travellers need more than anything else while going out are common sense and good organisation. We have got some points here to make your travel easier & comfortable.
- Start by choosing your luggage wisely. Always stick with durable, lightweight luggages.
- Bags with wheels are very convenient and can save your back from undue stress.
- Make sure each bag is clearly labeled with your name and other identifying information.
- Each bag should be secured with a lock. Keep the keys in your handbag or wallet. While determined thieves can usually break any lock. But having locks on your bags will at least discourage them.
- Never leave your luggage, briefcase or other items unattended. When you set them down, place them between your feet, or against your leg.
- Plan to travel in comfortable, casual clothing to avoid attracting attention.
What to leave behind :
The things, which we recommend you, should left at home or your Kith & Kin in case any emergency, then need contact your urgently are:
- A copy of your Travel Itinerary (Keep them informed regularly, especially if your travel plan has been changed).
- Name of the Hotels with their Address & Contact nos. of your staying.
- Your Contact no. (if you are carrying a Mobile phone).
What to leave behind :
Here is a list we recommend your should carry while going out for a long journey are:
- Your Photo Identification Card (Senior Citizen must carry their Photo Identification Card issued by any Govt. Organization, while availing any Senior Citizen Concession) in case of any emergency.
- A list of the contents you are carrying with you in case your luggage is lost or stolen.
- An “In Case of Emergency Card” that includes your BLOOD GROUP, ALLERGIES and Special Medical Conditions along with the Names and Contact Numbers for your Doctors.
Last time travel checklist :
At last you are ready to say GOODBYE to your home for couple of days. But don't forget to checkout a few things before leaving home.
- Your Tickets.
- Travel Itinerary.
- Name of the Hotels, their Address & Contact Nos.
Baggage Tips
Weight Concept :
- First Class Passenger :40 kg
- Business Class Passenger : 30 kg
- Economy Class Passenger : 20 kg
- Star Alliance Gold Customers : 20 kg additional to class allowance
- Lufthansa Frequent Travelers : 40 kg for all classes
Piece Concept :
- The passenger is allowed 2 pieces of baggage to be checked in. Each piece should not exceed 32 kg and the maximum dimensions 158cm (length + height + width).
- Which Concept applies can be seen on the ticket.
- In addition to the free baggage allowance, each passenger may carry hand baggage.
- First / Business Two Pieces
- Economy One Pieces
- With maximum weight 8 kg. and Maximum dimensions 22 X 16 X 8 inch
- In addition to the cabin baggage allowance, the following items may be carried on board.
- One small ladies handbag, one coat or plaid, one umbrella or walking stick, one small camera, one pair of binoculars, an appropriate of reading material for the duration of the journey, a baby basket and baby food for consumption during the flight.
Ankur's Do & Don't
Do:
- Travellers have to reach railway station 1.30 hrs. before the departure of train time.
- Please maintain the time schedule of the tour itinerary. (Company will not responsible for such mishap.)
- Do Not request to the company / manager for the allotment of berth & seat in the train. We are fully dependable on Railway department.
- Travellers are requested to take the help of our manager if any problem arises on journey period except berth allocation.
- Travellers are requested to wait at the reception counter for the instruction of the manager for room allotment in the hotel.
- Travellers are requested to solve any kind of problem with the manager on tour; he is the last & final responsible person to solve the matter.
- Travellers are requested to co-operate with the manager and co-travellers to make the tour memorable & enjoyable.
- Don’t request our manager for better rooms. Our rooms are all equally good in most of the hotels.
Don’t :
- Travellers are requested no to carry excessive luggage, per person one luggage medium size are granted, parties will be liable for extra cost for extra luggage
- Travellers are requested not to take any food / tea / drinks from any unknown co-travellers in train & don’t carry costly ornaments & valuable goods.
- Travellers are requested not to get restless for giving the coolies and move to hotel after arrival at the railway station. Please wait for the instruction of the manager.
- Travellers are requested not to create caws for their luggage after allotment of their rooms; it will reach their room accordingly.
- Travellers are requested to check their entire luggage before leaving the train & the room at hotel, at the time of loading/ unloading of their luggage at bus/car/train. Company will not responsible for any kind of loss & theft at the time of journey.
- Travellers are requested to collect their LTC/LFC bill from the head office after completion of the tour. Don’t harass our manager or regarding this matter.
- Travellers are requested not enter in the kitchen unnecessarily.
- Travellers are requested no smoking and not to take any liquor on train/ bus/ car journey
